 The LSE Media Group is a special interest group set up for and run by LSE alumni who work or have an interest in the media industry. It is active in the UK and in the US. The Group is unusual in its embracing definition of the media to include advertising, journalism, public relations, new media, entertainment, publishing, marketing and other creative interests.
Events: we meet about five times a year for networking and topic-led events speaker events, through which it aims to stimulate debate, increase understanding and insight into the media industry, and provide networking opportunities.

Topics: topics covered at our topic-led events have included trust in television, internet censorship, the state of the British film industry, spin-doctoring in political news reporting and the challenges in the publishing industry.
