LSE opens its residences to all during the Summer, Christmas and Easter vacations, with all profit reinvested into providing affordable student accommodation.

All residences are excellently located, comfortable and inexpensive. Linen and towels are provided. Many residences also include an excellent English Breakfast in their rates.

Alumni are entitled to a 10% discount on bookings, and now pay no online booking fee!

Bankside House opens during the summer to offer a range of rooms from singles to quads, many of which are en-suite.

Carr-Saunders Hall offers traditional hall of residence twin and single rooms at great value rates during all three vacations. Located just off Tottenham Court Road, it is the ideal location for shopping and all the West End has to offer

Grosvenor House Studios is perfect for people looking for a little bit of luxury. Each studio contains your own kitchen, bathroom and an in-room TV. Grosvenor is just 5 minutes' walk from LSE and available between mid August and late September.

High Holborn offers a mix of single and twin rooms with both en-suite and standard options. Its location is hard to beat - just 5 minutes to Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Theatreland! High Holborn is available between mid August and late September only.

Northumberland House is the newest addition to the LSE portfolio and offers full en-suite self catering single and twin rooms during the summer. The residence is housed in a grand Victorian hotel and has some amazing architecture.

Passfield Hall was LSE’s first residence and is much loved, and following a major refurbishment in 2006 it now offers a unique mix of Georgian architecture and modern facilities. Passfield is open during all three vacations.

Rosebery Hall offers a mixture of single, twin and triple rooms during all three vacations. A mixture of en-suite and standard options are available. Rosebery’s location in trendy Islington makes it the place to be for nightlife.

Please note that Butler's Wharf, Lillian Knowles House and Sidney Webb House are not open to the public as they are used to house LSE students all year round.
