LSE: Brand New Website!
LSE has become the first UK university to make debate the centre of its new website, using a strong central quote on the homepage. The new site is now live.

LSE Connect

LSE publishes the first issue of the new LSE magazine, LSE Connect due to land on door mats in early December.
Alumni Christmas Reception and Carol Concert
The Alumni Relations Team was delighted to welcome 70 alumni to a special minced pies and mulled wine reception in the Shaw Library.
Stelios Philanthropic Foundation launches entrepreneurship initiatives
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou (BSc Economics 1987), serial entrepreneur and founder of easyGroup, has recently launched a number of philanthropic initiatives which share the common aim of encouraging and rewarding entrepreneurship.
LSE penguin returns!
The School's much loved sculpture is back in its rightful place on Clare Market following its mysterious disappearance from campus earlier this year.
Thanksgiving Service at Westminster Abbey for Lord Dahrendorf
A Thanksgiving Service for Lord Dahrendorf of Clare Market, KBE, FBA, was held on 3 November 2009 at Westminster Abbey.

Development of the new Students' Centre
Following the selection of the winning architects plans are well under way for the development of the new Students' Centre, due to be completed in November 2012.
LSE100 receives a surge of applications
The course introduced this year and subtitled 'The LSE Course: Understanding the causes of things', has already received an influx of applications.
