LSE on Brexit

Seven months on since the UK Referendum result in favour of leaving the European Union, LSE alumni were invited back to the School on Thursday 9 February to discuss with the full implications and potential impact of Brexit on society, the economy and the political landscape.

Following an address on the School’s position on Brexit from Interim Director Professor Julia Black, in which she stressed that LSE and all higher education institutions must make the most of Brexit, a panel of LSE experts including Dr Swati Dhingra, Prof Simon Hix, Prof Tony Travers and Dr Waltraud Schelkle discussed the unprecedented challenges and opportunities that Brexit presents to the UK, Europe and the wider world.
