Michaelmas message to alumni – Professor Julia Black, interim Director

Professor Julia Black has commenced her term as interim Director of LSE. She provides her Michaelmas term update, welcomes Minouche Shafik and outlines her vision for the year ahead. 


This year’s Destination LSE events were a huge success

95 Destination LSE events took place over the summer all around the world, bringing together approximately four thousand offer holders, current students and alumni.  The send-off events for the soon-to-be LSE students provided attendees with the opportunity to meet at exciting venues, mingle with alumni, hear from high profile guest speakers, and learn news about the School.

Aaron Reeves joins LSE as new Associate Professorial Research Fellow in Poverty and Inequality

Aaron Reeves has been appointed Associate Professorial Research Fellow in Poverty and Inequality, a new  three-year early career fellowship in the International Inequalities Institute, established through a gift from The Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
