Enjoy free life-long access to the LSE Library
Alumni are welcome to use the LSE Library’s printed collections - on a reference basis or to borrow - free of charge. There are also internet-connected PCs allocated to alumni, providing access to certain online journals.
How to apply for an LSE Alumni Library Card
Alumni can apply for their alumni library card through the following online form. You will need to be logged in to your LSE Alumni account. If you have not yet created an account, please complete New User Registration to create an account. For any registration queries, please contact email@example.com or call +44 (0)20 7955 7361.
If you have any outstanding loans on your Library account, please return these before making your application for an alumni library card.
You will receive an email from the Library when your card is ready for collection. The process normally takes between 5-10 days. You are able to access the Library while you are waiting for your Alumni card to be processed. Simply present your confirmation email to the Library Enquiries desk, to receive a temporary 5 day pass.
If you have any queries regarding library services or card collection, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. For further information on using the LSE Library, please visit the Library website or email email@example.com.
Unfortunately there is no remote journal access for alumni under current licencing agreements, although we are hoping to secure this in the future.
