You can easily update your details by filling in this form. Updating your details will ensure you receive our e-newsletter, Impact Monthly, and notifications of alumni events in your area.

You can pick up or renew your Alumni Campus Card in the Alumni Centre Monday to Friday between 9:30am - 5pm. This exclusive card gives you access to the LSE Library and many buildings on campus including the new SU Gym.

You can always access your alumni benefits and services without an alumni card; you can continue to connect with us virtually via our online services, including the Research for the World magazine, the Alumni Online Library and our public lecture series.

Find out about the services available to LSE alumni through LSE Library

LSE student email accounts expire on 31 December of the year that you graduate, so do make sure you save anything you need ahead of that time. It’s not possible to reactivate accounts.
Unfortunately, you can’t keep your LSE email address. However, you can sign up for an LSE alumni email to showcase your LSE connection (please note, these accounts are not connected to your student account). . 

LSE welcomes visits from its alumni, but please note that access to buildings for alumni is different to that for staff and students.

1. Access Times
The School is fully open Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 am to 6.00 pm, excluding Bank Holidays and School closures at Christmas and Easter. Alumni can only access the public areas in the LSE buildings which does not include departmental spaces. 


2. Early mornings, evenings and weekends
Access to LSE buildings before 9.00 am and after 6:00 pm on weekdays, and at all times at weekends, is restricted to LSE staff only. Please note that Alumni Campus cards permit access between 9:00 am and 6:00pm only.


3. Exceptions
The following are exceptions to this rule:

◦Library
The Library operates its own admissions policy and has opening hours which vary according to the time of year – please see the Library website for details of opening hours and admissions policy. Currently, alumni can access the Library 7 days a week from 9 am to midnight. 


◦New Academic Building (NAB) and 32 Lincoln’s Inn (32 LIF) 
Access to the NAB and 32 LIF operates on a swipe card system for staff and students. Access for alumni is not possible before 09:00am or after 6:00pm on weekdays, or at weekends; access on weekdays is possible either by presenting your Alumni Campus card or by emailing the NAB reception or 32 LIF receptions at least 24 hours in advance of your visit.

◦ Gym and squash club 
Members who are in possession of a valid gym or squash membership card can gain access while the gym and squash courts are open in the evenings and at weekends. 

◦ Public lectures, evening classes and other official events
Anyone attending public lectures, evening classes and other official LSE activities is permitted access to LSE buildings for the duration of the event.

◦ LSESU events
Some evening and weekend events will require a ticket or LSE identification - it is advisable to check with the LSESU in advance.

◦ IT access
Alumni can access The Cloud WIFI on campus.

LSE Careers provides a range of professional services to help students and recent graduates plan with confidence for the future. Alumni are eligible to continue using LSE Careers for up to five years after the award end date. For more information on services please visit the LSE Careers website.
All official documents like transcripts and degree certificates are managed by the Student Services Centre (SSC). You can find out more, including instructions on how to order copies, on their webpage. If you need further assistance you can contact the SSC directly using their enquiry form. Please select ‘results and awards team’ from the dropdown list.
The Alumni Engagement team cannot supply personal references. Instead, you should ask your former tutor or academic mentor. You can find further guidance on the Student Services Centre webpage on Certificates and Letters.
